Living Arrangements and Families:
The opportunity to be a member of a traditional Guatemalan family allows the student to have direct contact with the country and its customs. Through typical Guatemalan meals, family conversation and traditional celebrations students receive a first hand experience of the Guatemalan lifestyle.
This contributes to the student's immersion. You will be offered a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in which to live and learn. The families provide three meals a day, purified water, a private room and a bath with hot water. Please don't forget to bring your own toiletries and towel. If you have any special dietary needs please inform us in advance. Many students cook a typical meal from their country for their families, which also contributes to a cultural exchange.
